Early Life and Exploration of Movement
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in Sarasota, Florida, Ethan Balno's fascination with movement and its impact on the human body began at a young age. His early passion for martial arts, including Kickboxing, Boxing, Thai Boxing, Kali, Jet Kun Do, Wing Chun, Taiji, and Jiu Jitsu, paired with his remarkable success in powerlifting (one of the strongest powerlifters in the world in his weight class and held 7 state and national records), led him to a profound understanding of how the body’s structure, alignment, internal energy and grounding can transform the body’s functionality.
A Deep Dive into Eastern Wisdom
At the age of 26, Ethan embarked on a journey to Asia to find the secret training methods that would open the gateway of his internal practices. His quest first took him To Thailand, where he studied Thai Boxing, Krabi Krabong and Wing Chun as well as taught Kali. He then spent over 25 years in Indonesia, mastering disciplines such as Qigong, Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, and Yongchunquan. It was during this deep emersion in the secret internal teachings that the foundations of Innergy Move (IM) were established.
Exclusivity and Global Expansion
For many years, Ethan exclusively taught IM to his personal students, refining and perfecting the system in individual and group settings. In 2024, recognizing the profound, life-changing effects of IM on his students, Ethan decided to make the technique available to the world. What was once a private practice for a select few is now gaining widespread popularity, with teachers eager to learn and students seeking the benefits of IM.
The Rise of Innergy Move Teachers
Due to the limited number of certified IM trainers, specialists in this field are in high demand and well-compensated. This scarcity contributes to the dynamic growth and increasing popularity of these techniques, making IM a sought-after skill set in the wellness community.
A Holistic Approach to Health and Well-Being
Innergy Move emphasizes both the internal and external aspects of the body, focusing on breathing, relaxation, grounding, balance, structure, alignment, strength, flexibility, mobility, and tendon stretching. These techniques provide holistic benefits, enhancing the circulatory system, improving nervous system function, boosting cognitive performance, and increasing vital energy.
Regular practice of IM ensures phenomenal health and physical fitness, making it an adaptable system that can be practiced by individuals of any age or skill level, even into the later years of life.
A Gift to the World
Now based in Hoi An, Vietnam, Ethan offers IM as a gift to the world—a pathway for individuals to reconnect with their body and mind amidst the chaos of modern life. IM is not just a series of exercises; it’s a journey towards deeper self-understanding, rediscovering harmony, and balance in everyday life.
Witnessing Transformations
Through Innergy Move, Ethan has seen countless transformations. His students emerge from their challenges with renewed clarity, strength, and resilience. These stories of personal growth are a testament to the power of IM—a system meticulously crafted by Ethan to be accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level.
